" Lichwick is as comfortable in her own skin as she is in her sun dress, twirling around the stage. Her presence is a delight." - nytheatre.com
I randomly chose this show to be my first Fringe experience of 2011 and it was a great choice. She is a terrific performer with a powerful and moving story to tell, and she keeps things moving with lots of action and humor and charm. She is a very talented performer who brings the people in her story to life with what I suspect are very accurate impersonations. - David Bickford
“Mesmerizing! A great talent! Marissa Lichwick succeeds beautifully as she lures her audience into the emotional journey through her childhood in a Korean orphanage, adoption in America, and the return to Korea as an adult to search for her past. This talented young actress has a great future in the theater.”
-Charles A. Gregory, Writer/Producer/Videographer
“Marissa Lichwick’s kaleidoscopic one girl/one woman tale—peopled with Korean and American “saints and sinners”—turns you on your head. Just when you are about to curse humanity, the wisp of a girl who wears the yellow dress scoops you up and twirls you in another direction—into a world of shining, ever-finding-the-laugh resilience. My world is different after seeing this finely-crafted beautifully acted play— a “yellow dress” lurks around every corner."

Marissa’s performance is powerful- Her characters are muscular and nuanced. She travels the globe in search of herself and truly finds it where she least expects it. I was entranced from the very beginning. PLEASE don’t miss this show. - Joy Nash, writer, performer: Fat Rant, My Mobster
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The performance is touching and substantial with several doses of humor tossed in to mitigate the poignant story. I think my fondness of this show lies in the respect for the performer in opening her life to the audience with nothing hidden or tempered. - Rich Clark, Photo Journalist
“Marissa Lichwick is fearless and effortless in her storytelling. She fully embodies every character, leading us through an exciting, inspirational, and extremely touching journey” -Kayla Lian, Actress
“One of the bravest pieces of theatre I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Truly a beautiful human spirit being shared on stage.”
